The legs looked gone, the creativity was gone, the manager was happy to sit back and see games out with devastating consequences. Last night at 1-1 they decided to pass the ball around and see the game out while others around them where fighting tooth and nail to maximise every opportunity to win and make it happen. Sabri got this wrong, so wrong he is lucky he just signed a new contract.
Let's be honest, even if they did get through there is no way this team would have beaten Fulham or Brentford.
All that happened is that the players get to go on holiday early and the Forest management have an extra couple of weeks to plan the 2021 campaign.
A couple of our better players will be going, sadly they may well be our academy products, that is going to hurt the squad badly, those players cannot be replaced.
Those players - though it will hurt - can be replaced.
The question is - have we got a recruitment team with the nous to identify & acquire the right players.

I started watching the Reds around 1963 and have seen some abysmal displays and gone through some terrible managerial reigns like Gillies, Brown and that ginger bloke. But I've never felt so low about a series of performances as since the restart. I want our next leader to refuse to have a laptop or clipboard at the touchline. I want the belief that football is a simple game restoring. I want each player to know his job and to do his best to perform it. But mostly I want skill and creativity back at our famous Club. I want to look forward to seeing my team play again even if we lose as, for sure, we will.

Is it true if Forest hadn't conceded the 90+6 4th goal we would of been in the play offs?
So the Swansea game had finished a few minutes earlier which meant of 90+5 we were same goal differance but the commentary earlier in the game said something like it would then depend on the Head to Heads which we came out on top v Swansea
So the last few minutes, extreme desperation and gk wanting to go up for the free kick n all that and the extreme measures ... were unneccessary .. or it was goal scored or someone was thinking it was goals scored when it was actually Head to Heads if same GD

SA, is it true though? upto the 90+5 we were in the play offs as goal diff would of been the same and our head to head with Swansea was better?
I know it doesn't help but just in case there is some further pain i am missing out on here
I think it was goals scored wasn't it not head to head? So we were out anyway before Stokes last goal.

Yes we were out at 3-1 as swans had won 4-1 and would have gone up on goals scored.
