Work underway to demolish Forest's old East Stand in 1979, making way for a new, £1.5 million development that is now known as the brian Clough Stand.

A mate of mine who was a Forest fan decided not to go to that game and went to see his knock off, anyway on his way home he seen this forest fan and asked him what the score was and this bloke told him the score so when he got home his wife asked if he had enjoyed the game and said what about the fire, he said what fire what are you talking about the forest fan he had asked the score never mentioned the fire to him, he got divorced not long after, this is a true story.

I haven't got any photos but would just like to say how much I love this thread. Such memories, I can remember the last game in the old Trent End, a day I will never forget.

I only have the memories, they are great ones but I would love to have a piece of it.
