The City Ground (1898 - Present) is a stadium with history written all over it.
Home to Brian Clough's Nottingham Forest teams between 1975 - 1993, it has witnessed first-hand players that would go on to win the League, back-to-back European Cups, four League Cups and two Full Members Cups. It has a capacity of 30,576, making it the 25th largest football ground in England. It's an iconic ground and since Evangelos Marinakis arrival there is now a new air of optimism around the place. The Red Army is flooding back in their thousands and it's a delight to see. Long live the City Ground!

One of my earliest memories of going to the City Ground was for a night match against Arsenal in 1971, Forest lost 3-0, I was a very small boy.
My dad put me in the kids pen in the Trent End and I stood on a wooden box whilst my dad went and stood with all the singing fans behind the goal. I absolutely loved every minute of it and I was hooked for life after that.

I loved the old East Stand.
When 'The Lads' used to stand in their before moving to the Trent End it was brilliant. A lot of the atmosphere disappeared when the East Stand was replaced by the Executive Stand which was like a library.

Love this photo of the entrance to the old Trent End.

The world famous City Ground is packed to the rafters for a league match in the 1930's.
Great to see the look of joy on the faces of the young fans who are lining the pitch.
