1994 and the new Trent End is under construction. A group of workmen are having a well earned break in the upper tier.

The Brian Clough Stand and the Trent End rise up in the distance on Trentside.

Smashing photo. I stood against those barriers many a time.

So glad we got rid of those pink seats in the Brian Clough Stand.

Great Photo, this set me thinking, I wonder when the first Floodlights were introduced at the City Ground?

The floodlights at the City Ground were first switched on on the 11th September 1961.

Not sure if this view of the Trent End has been put here before, but what a great view.

Exactly where I used to stand and the exact barrier I used to lean on.

Thanks for that, great photo.

Heaven!

Loved the old Trent End but goodness me it used to be cold in winter. I’m sure I used to have hypothermia come the full time whistle.

Nice one, Sniffer. Appeals to the romantic in me. Great thread, chaps.

Some brilliant time capsules. Keep 'em coming.

I remember standing watching Brian and Nigel Clough's Forest hammer Liverpool 1-1.

Forest smashed them that night. I remember standing. :)

Before they built the stand... Bradford?

I do have some photos of Billy Davies' Forest on my old phone.

SA.

I really like this one, it's took from an unusual place.
