Just been having a look at our upcoming fixtures over the next 6 weeks and there are some tasty matches to look forward to, including having to play against 7 of the top 8 sides.
6th Feb.....Wycombe (A) 24th
13th Feb...Bournemouth (H) 6th
17th Feb...Swansea (A) 2nd
20th Feb...Blackburn (H) 8th
23rd Feb...Rotherham (A) 23rd
26th Feb...Derby (A) 20th
2nd Mar....Luton (H) 13th
6th Mar....Watford (A) 5th
13th Mar...Reading (H) 4th
17th Mar...Norwich (H) 1st
20th Mar...Brentford (A) 3rd
What are your views on these 11 matches? How many do you think we could/should win? Could we upset some of the top sides? What are your realistic expectations, points wise?

Bring it on. We are one of the form teams.
Bournemouth are on a terrible run, QPR have just beaten Watford, Reading are nothing special.
We have nothing to fear.

It’s very difficult / impossible to predict results on a game by game basis.
For context though -
Last 10 games - 16 points @ 1.6 ppg
Last 15 games - 17 points @ 1.13 ppg
I will go in the middle of that given that it is a tougher run of fixtures than last 10, but countered by hopefully a stronger midfield.
So 11 games x 1.3 Ppg = 14 points.
That would put us on 43 points with 8 games left.

Our results from the first games vs these sides earlier this season we gained 10 points. A repeat performance would make March a very lean month.
6th Feb.....Wycombe (A) 24th WON
13th Feb...Bournemouth (H) 6th. LOST
17th Feb...Swansea (A) 2nd LOST
20th Feb...Blackburn (H) 8th. WON
23rd Feb...Rotherham (A) 23rd DREW
26th Feb...Derby (A) 20th DREW
2nd Mar....Luton (H) 13th DREW
6th Mar....Watford (A) 5th DREW
13th Mar...Reading (H) 4th LOST
17th Mar...Norwich (H) 1st LOST
20th Mar...Brentford (A) 3rd LOST
Agree finding 16 points from them this time is what we need. I am somewhat encouraged by the fact we do seem to pick up points from fellow struggling teams which is a good habit to have

Feb is huge for us. Could potentially change the entire future of the club round IMO.

I dont have stats to back this up but my view is that the months of Jan and Feb are the ones where the top sides can wobble a bit and teams at the bottom get a few results. Also, at the bottom there is often a team that hits a bad run and can get a result and likewise at the top a club will hit a purple patch and string a load of wins together.
I suspect us, sheep, QPR and possibly Sheff Wed might have enough about them to get away. Coventry look like they're a club capable of nosediving, as do Brum at the moment. Wycombe look gone (no suprises there). Rotherham look doomed. They have games in hand but they've got to win them and when the form sides begin to pick up points that may be harder for them, especially as they'll be playing under pressure to get wins.
So for me, if we can just keep on steadily picking up points the bottom 3 will be Wycombe, Rotherham and one of Coventry or Birmingham.
