I think (hope) our season will get kick started tomorrow v Brentford.

Pick up a win and kick on through the Christmas fixtures.

Take the performance against Norwich, cut out self inflicted goals and score the goal to win.

Norwich got lucky. Are beatable but you can't give away cheap goals in this league. Norwich make their own luck.

Forest need to do likewise through greater endeavour.

Brentford? Beatable.

Get a decent performance and sooner or later our luck has got to change.

As SA says, Norwich made their own luck. Norwich are at the top of the pile because they have had luck in their favour. Apart from against Coventry, our luck hasn't been there.

But luck can only have so much influence on a game and if we dont make and take chances, then we aren't going to win, simples.

I hope we break our habit of putting in a semi decent performance in one game and just not show up in the next.

I know we are not scoring many but we don't have too many attacking options at the moment.

We can't keep on conceding 2 goals, we do have options at the back and I think we need to change things.

Tomorrow I would go with:

Samba (just)
Jenkinson
Worrall
McKenna (if fit)
Ioannou
Sow
Cafu
Knockaert
Lolley (number 10 roll)
Taylor
Ameobi

Sniff, you cant go changing 3 of the back 4, three days after a midweek match. That'd be crazy. The rest I agree with but Lolley needs to know more is expected of him.

Samba (just)
Christie
Worrall
Figs
Ribs
Sow
Cafu
Knockaert
Lolley (number 10 roll)
Taylor
Ameobi

Sniffer I like your team but a couple of tweaks, I would drop myself and play big Sami in the number 10 role. Sami does not really know what is going on with his feet most of the time so how would you expect the opposition defenders to know? The wing role can then be played by Alex who deserves a start and lets see what he can do, I am sure watching him in training most days that he is in much better nick then myself at present!

I have been Figgs worst critic but he was very good on Wednesday. Let’s hope he can carry on that form...
