Nick Randall - Match Day Chairman Only

I have seen many people ask (not just on this forum) where Nick Randall has been as we haven't heard from him for over a year.

Well, been informed that Nick Randall now works on match days only. He has been marginalized which for some reason the club wanted to and have managed to keep secret, so is not involved in the day to day running of the team, that's all done by a certain CEO and hence why not heard anything from him. Whether that changes who knows, but he hasn't been responsible for any decisions made.

Also remember, any manager, player, staff members and companies like Benoy have to sign a NDA and sing from the same positive hymm sheet, which means cannot talk against the club while they are there or when they have left. Not saying that is highly unusual, it is standard, but with that in mind it is very difficult to get the truth.

Plot thickens!
Though Randall - in my view - was never more than a figurehead anyway.

Agree he was only ever a mouthpiece but he was a good one. Even if he only works one day a week it would be good if he could give us another of his wordy statements, how the club is managing though Covid, update on season cards, update on stand development, now get behind Hughton etc.

He is one of the countries top barristers on sports law, worked with many top clubs and well known players plus he sits on FA & premier league panel.

Same as folk at clubs sitting in plush office as a chief Exec knowing nothing about how football is run in this country!

He's the Chairman, the Chairman is never involved in company operations unless he is an Executive Chairman.
He chairs the Board of Directors.
The CEO is the Chief Executive Officer, he runs the show.

He probably knows about as much as the comedian and the filmmaker who both somehow seemed to get into a position of power.
