I could be wrong but I believe that our next manager will come from the list in the poll above or the 6 names mentioned below. I know that one or two names appear to be just a dream but not if EM gets his way and his wish!
The poll will only allow me to post 10 options but I would also like to add Steve Gerrard, Esteban Cambiaso, Mick McCarthy, Big Sam, Rui Vitoria and Nigel Clough to the list.
So that's 16 options. Who do you want?

He told us last week that Modesto had his short list and Silva was going to Olympiakos as a free agent without a fee. Neither of them were true. Not knocking the bloke but he's not very accurate.

I take it Valverde is the fall off your chair manager you mentioned and I would agree if it happened. I actually do think we would have had a chance of him had we managed to get promoted but in the Championship, zero chance.
Still think Marco Silva is the runaway favourite, ticks every box, looking for work, mates with EM, ex Oly, English experience. Not saying he is the best choice, just the most likely.
Note there are 3 Portuguese names on that list, all of which look feasible in the week we have moved out all our Portuguese players.

Yes and probably not unfortunately but never say never. EM loves him and Valverde has a strong desire to manage in England (albeit in The PL).

Valverde would be dreamland. I'm really unsure where we'll go, the signings this summer seem to suggest a move towards Championship experience so I wouldn't be surprised to see someone like Cook, Pearson or Hughton approached but at the same time someone like Marco Silva seems more like a typical Marinakis appointment. I'd say Quique Sanchez Flores has to be considered an option as well. Really intrigued to see what happens.
