I think Sky etc will have the ultimate say, I’m sure I’m not the only one who has cancelled their Sky Sports package this weekend.

I am sure a way will be found, on way or another.
Too much money at stake for too many people not too. It might not be for 3/4weeks mind.

I believe that it’s out of the EFL’s hands.
Those greedy buggers in the Premier League will not allow their own to be disadvantaged. The bottom 7 or 8 clubs - anyone in the slightest danger of relegation - will join forces and demand status quo. No PL relegation = no Championship promotion.

I think that the season will be called null and void in mid April.

Did they offer you a deal to stay? I didnt realise till i looked last night its £34 a month for sky sports. Thats a lot with no actual sport to watch in the world.

I know I am bored stiff already, can't even look forward to the cricket starting on time either.

I think they'll just void the season and we'll go again in September with the same line ups in each league as this season. I just think that's the course that will have the least objectors. No one gets relegated from the prem so most clubs are happy there. And just 2 clubs in the champ would be hard done to. All other clubs would likely be accepting. Eveyone can forget about football till then whilst the society deals with the matter.

I wouldn’t assume that will be the case, the Germans are looking at an alternative and I think this may set a precedent that other countries will consider and possibly follow: https://onefootball.com/en/news/four-pro...e=20200315

Not assuming anything Username.
Only my view - but can’t see PL clubs taking advice from anyone which may disadvantage them.

The PL dont have the power to just abandon relegation, the FA would have to sign off on it. They are not a closed shop in that regard, regardless of what they may want.
That said they could probably offer the EFL some money to accept it or just threaten to take some money away again |
