Forest & Notts County Relations

I'm glad to see relations between Forest & County are improving. County will be using Forest training facilities.
What though caused the breakdown in relations, I never quite knew or understood.

It was their ex owner who was slagging us off while we were loaning them players.

Anyhow, I’ve never quite understood the warmth shown to Notts County. County fans hate us and sing songs to demonstrate that every home game. Personally, I couldn’t care less if they went to the wall. We’ve had our generosity towards them shoved up our backsides many times.

Nottingham isn’t bid enough for two clubs. They split the City and take numbers away from us. If Nottingham were a one club City we’d be looking at 40,000 home attendances in the Premiership and that would make a big difference to how we were viewed nationally.

I know you’re going to say about the Notts fans never coming to watch us but a generation on and the Forest fan base would increase.

I love Forest, Notts cricket, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire I don't understand why I am supposed to dis!ike Notts. They are no threat and their supporters are part of our community who are a bit odd sometimes but they haven't jumped onto the Liverpool or some other bandwagon.

Nobody is saying you are supposed to dislike them.

We can all make our own minds up based on various reasons and experiences.

Personally I detest them and hope they go out of business but I have no problem with someone who doesn't share my opinion.

used to be handy for loaning players but too far down the league now so not sure of point of relationship other then to be nice.

It’s still a good level to blood some of our younger players.

I had hoped that we would move our non first team matches their to make them easier to get to and give them some funds.
