If he wants to stay then we stick as far as i'm concerned. My only worry is we are hearing a lot of noise that he wanted to leave before the Ipswich game but was talked into staying.

For me it is stick, but I think it all depends on wether the owners believe they would be sticking with the right man, looks like we will soon find out.

as long as the relationship isnt toxic i would stick. i zero interest in bringing in another manager and starting all over again.

The thing is whoever they bring in they are in a position where the top 3 are now in my view out of reach so the best they could do is get 4th and we are only 3 points from 5th and 6th as it is with AK in charge. Also AK should now know our strengths and what needs to be done whereas others need to look at players and make fast choices before the window closes. Also anyone new will not get a chance to work on their style so we will be playing the system they are already used so nothing will actually change very much.

STICK

Stick 100% unless there are mitigating issues behind the scenes we aren’t aware of

Stick. We’ve tried most thing manager wise in the last 20 years, apart from giving someone more than 2 transfer windows to build a team.

Stick!!! And allow him to stay for the duration of his contract.
Whilst I am 100% stick. The Millwall result/performance will dictate. So glad I am going. Classic Forest, no such thing as run of the mill fixture. Normally a point at Mewah would be good. NOW it is 3 pts or bust.

Does any. One else notice a symmetry with last year. Warburton was very positive up until late November / December when he started going on about changing the goalposts. What followed was a drop off in form and two turgid games against Sunderland and Wednesday at home. This year we had an unhappy ‘flat’ interview after a home win from karanka and 2 turgid home displays in December followed by an interview about time needed from the manager.
I didn’t want warburton gone and the subsequent drop off following karanka a appointment was shocking. Not karanka fault - players were under a different philosophy and unable or unwilling to adapt. Then karanka set about shaping his squad and has done okay with much room for improvement especially at home. It now needs some fine tuning and a few in and outs not like the summer or last jan. if we twist now we will be in the same position with the possibility of form continuingly to drop. Also it would be expensive to sack the coaching team and replace. I can’t see any logic at all. |
