We smashed Villa a month ago and the following week we were 1-2 up at West Ham and heading for the top 10.
So what has happened? What has gone wrong and why have the players downed tools and committed a mutiny? Because from where I am sitting and from what I am hearing that is what they have done.

Have they just heard the entire extent of Cooper's message? He's quite motivating when he talks but have the players heard it all before now?

I'd be interested to know more why Joe Worrall hasn't been anywhere near the match day sqaud since the rumours of a bust up with Cooper.
Clearly shit has been going off behind the scenes.

From my perspective, the only thing I can think why the players are turning their backs on the boss is because of his insistence to play the way we currently are and they know it doesn't work! They know they will be expected to work harder due to the low possession game Cooper likes and they aren't willing to do that.
I was disgusted with the performance from quite a few of those in the garibaldi last night. Sangare is a complete waste of money and a shirt. What Cooper saw in him is anyones guess, but whatever it is, he left it at Eindhoven. Origi keeps getting waxed lyrical by TV commentators about his wonderful Liverpool performances, yet for us he looks worse than Ayew or Dennis was for us last season. Dominguez? WTF has happened with him? He made a howler against West Ham (I think) and seems to be devoid of any confidence since. Aina is another one thats seems to be falling in standards from just a few weeks ago. MGW, i'm sorry to those that worship him, but for me, another waste of money. Apart from the odd moment of skill, he is not what you would expect for £42M or whatever the actual sum is. He reminds me of Carvalho in as much as he has the skill in his locker, he just forgets to bring the key to unlock it!
I hope the big man see's that last night was down to the players and not down to Cooper, despite him saying it was on him. It wasn't! It was down to a handful of individuals not pulling their weight, rolling up their sleeves or showing any sense of pride in wearing that famous garibaldi shirt. I hope the Big Man holds a Teams meeting with those players from last night and gives them 50 rounds of f***s, because thats what they deserve. I then hope he docks every last one of them the equivalent of a match ticket and travel to London for 3,000 loyal Reds out of their over inflated wages and refunds every supporter who proudly sang on for the manager and the team, despite being 5-0 down.
If the players don't know what loyalty, pride, togetherness and support for this great club looks like, they should just remember those 3,000 Trickies seated in the corner of Craven Cottage, who stayed behind to show their support for the manager.
But in answer to the threads question about why have they downed tools? I've got absolutely no idea

This leadership group thing is interesting.
It comprises of Joe, Ryan, MGW, Serge and Wood.
The first 2 won’t be at all happy due to not playing enough, and Joe effectively dumped following the Luton debacle.
It’s clear him and McKenna are finished at the club.
If Coops has lost the others in that group, then there is no way back for him.

No Serge in the squad last night which might give us a clue unless he had a knock.
None of the 5 made the starting eleven which might give us another clue.
