With under a month still to go before the season I'm sure the squad will look different when it starts. But if you had to name a 25 man squad right now, with the players we've got right now, what would it look like? I'll start. I'm not including Surridge, Dennis or Shelvey as they appear to be either close to moves out or won't be considered. Also working off the assumption that Toffolo will be suspended:

There is no chance Cook, Hwang, Horvath or Bowler will be here end of the transfer window,
We need to make room for at least 5/6 incomings.

That gives you 4 and I also think Biancone and Richards will probably need a loan as missing a year of football, and still not deemed ready to even play in effectively training games, means in reality they can’t play at Prem level without a loan first.

In the above list, the ones not to be included to provide rooms for signings will be

Horvath, Biancone, Richards, LOB, Hwang, Cook

I also think there is a5 least a 50% chance that Kouyate, Freuler and Johnson aren’t here come 31st Aug.

We are Surridge, Lingard, Ayew, Dennis down and only Elanga in.

Even if Brennan doesn’t leave (which I think he will) we are a centre forward and a wide forward / number 10 short IMO
