Only 8 games until the World Cup (ignoring League Cup), you've got to assume this means Cooper has at least these games to show improvement now (hopefully):
Villa (H)
Wolves (A)
Brighton (A)
Liverpool (H)
Arsenal (A)
Brentford (H)
Palace (H)
So looking at that list, Villa, Brentford, Palace and Wolves are all winnable.
It does feel like the next two games are pretty critical though otherwise there's a real danger of this 5 game losing streak becoming 10.
Still doesn't make great reading really, going to need to get a few results in games we wouldn't really expect anything.

Do you mean Cooper has eight games to keep his job Wassy or eight games for the club to avoid relegation?
My view is that he still gets sacked if the 5 game run becomes a 10 game one. And re relegation, I think we're so far behind the curve now we have to assume it's a certainty, so we go into games with nothing to lose and a mindset of any positive result being a bonus.

I meant Cooper not relegation. There's 30 more games for that! Way too early to be writing that one off. this league is hard, but other teams will struggle too. Teams will go through phases where they play a run of top sides and lose a load of games, there will be opportunities.
I'd like Cooper to stay even if we lost all 8 games although I will admit that would be more difficult to defend. I hope we show some improved performances and can scrape out some points to calm the nerves.

Need 11 points from these to have a 1 point per game ratio, which is roughly what we will need to stay up.

Weren't we being written off last season after 7 games and 1 point on the board? I'm pretty certain there was a resignation by our fanbase that we would be relegated. We are only 8 games in, have 4 points on the board, are only 2 points from the safety line and 6 points off Liverpool in ninth. We aren't THAT far behind Pap.

We arent Tricks but we look like the worst side in the league by a mile, never mind 4th worst. Teams like Wolves looks years ahead of us yet are sacking their managers!

To be honest I cant see where the next win comes from. We cant attack games because we're wide open when we do and we're not going to win many games when we set us as we were for Villa. The points total could be 2 or 3 for that lot and I'm including the Villa game in that.

If you offered me 7 points from that run right now I would take it to be honest.
