Only EM can decide, and I'm pretty sure he won't be getting his info from twitter.

Unlike his predecessor.  :D

You'd imagine someone at the club is coming onto forums such as this to see what's being said and feeding intel back into management. I'd expect the pr dept to be doing that. If not then they should.

This is just unbelievable. We have payed one league game and we have actually created a poll asking if Sabri should get the sack or not. Seriously - after one league game!

But not only that, we are also discussing which players that are not good enough for our glorious team and if some posters would get their wishes granted then I'm afraid we wouldn't have many players left.

But as one posters said, football isn't that complicated. Not sure if many real life managers and players would agree to that.

It is all very very sad. I thought we all agreed at some point at least that stability was important. But I guess stability is only important when all is going well.

I need to take a break from all this negativity. It's starting to get to me. I will log off for a while now.

Gari, dont log off. The purpose of the poll was to demonstrate that there is a silent majority in favour of sticking with Sabri. I think we've demonstrated that that's the case. I was worried that it was only the voice of the naysayers who were being heard.

If anyone from the club looks at this forum, and LTLF for that matter, they will see the fans don't want to see him gone. For varying reasons.

I created the poll because another poster thought it would be interesting. The results so far are nearly two-thirds in favour of giving Sabri more time.

No surprise surely.
What is worrying ( to me at least ) is that nearly a third would jettison him after just one game.

I find that really odd - given that the other board poll has 90% in favour of him staying.
And I thought this board to be the one of ‘reason’.

I consider myself to be very reasonable. 95% of the time I would favour continuity but this moment is the 1 in 20. I am simply convinced in my opinion unfortunately.

I don't think there is a silent majority in favour of him staying, I think there are a number of people on here who have argued quite strongly about wanting him to stay and probably less of us who have argued the opposite. It just so happens that favouring continuity is seen as the 'mature' or 'reasonable' side to the argument.

Folk need to chill a bit, it's all about opinion. We might find out who is right in the end, we might not. Lots of hypotheticals and things that can change.

To be fair I remember when we lost against WBA last year most said he would be gone by October

I think we have invested too much in the man now with his new staff not to persist.

He needs to solve the last minute goals and the lack of shots. Covid and the breakup hasn't helped but it's the same for everyone .

You sound like a political party leader who's just lost an election. The electorate got it wrong, we won the argument.....

(Edit: That's fair enough by the way. The forum would be boring if everyone thought the same).   :D

That’s the point though isn’t it. We have just played 1 league game. We have played 1 this season. The current situation has been ongoing now since January. 8 months... ok we had a 3 month break but still that is a long time for a team to play the same way, get poor results and make an alarming amount of backwards progress.

We all know it was great to start with. It has since gone horribly wrong and shows no signs of getting better.

Let’s hope we stuff Cardiff at the weekend and start to move forward. If we lose again with an abject performance then I fear his time will be almost up. Em has sacked coaches for far less before.

Yup it was me, and as Pap says it was to demonstrate that despite criticism from some and a comment about negativity I thought the majority want him to stay! And they do.  (I also want him to stay).

Gari I think you are missing the point pal.

The point of the poll is to prove that most want Lamouchi to stay.

No need to be upset bud.
