£42 million in player sales over several years.

Interesting to note that the official site match report on the U18’s 4-1 win over Leeds constantly refers to the ‘triallist’ despite him scoring 2 goals - no mention of his name.
Is this to keep his name confidential at the risk of losing him to a rival, protecting a minor in some way or simply because they are not allowed to name him for some reason?

That was my thought - but there’s no way they can keep these things under the radar.

A trialist has scored for the U23's today. Is it the same guy? Does anyone know who he is?

Big chap, not the same trialist as the U18's apparently. And we won 5-1!

Under 23s remain on top of the Professional Development League after a convincing 5-1 win against Barnsley this afternoon.
A Will Swan brace was followed by further goals from Victor Sodiende, Alex Mighten and a trialist which helped wrap up a comfortable win at The Nigel Doughty Academy.

Nottingham Forest have signed academy midfielder Fin Back on a professional contract.
The 17-year-old - the son of England Rugby World Cup winner Neil Back - has impressed for Forest's under-18s over the last two seasons, socring five goals from midfield in 2018-19.
Back has already added two to that tally so far this season, and his performances have earned him his first pro deal at the City Ground.
