PL Clubs sacking 2 managers in the same season:

Leicester 01/02 - RELEGATED
Charlton 06/07 - RELEGATED
Swansea 16/17 - 15th
West Brom 1718 - RELEGATED
Watford - 19/20 - 11th
Leeds 22/23 - RELEGATED
Southampton 23/24 RELEGATED

They were not sacked in the first quarter of the season

Nope and if anything, were sacked too late for any difference to really be made. Bit like it could be if we stuck with Ange till xmas and between now and then the current form continued.

I mean they’re just facts regardless of how you want to spin them.

The only person spinning stats here is you.

These stats are don't match the context of our season at all.

Why not get the list of teams that qualified for Europe then sacked their manager due to a fall out with the new Sporting Director?

Are you suggesting because of these stats we should not sack him?

What’s happened is that with the high profile figures of Marinakis and Postecoglou we are now a target and a figure of fun when it goes wrong, much in the same way that Man Utd are right now. Reap what you sow.

Loads of media stories about “whats gone wrong at Forest” This one below from the Mail is a readable look at why the tactics don’t work

I've noticed the majority of the fan and media reaction (outside of Sky of course) is mainly just sympathy for the fan base and largely agreement that Ange was an odd appointment.

I’m just wondering whether playing teams that are expecting to beat us may be better for Ange. We played very well against saville away- arsenal would be harsh to include. All his other games we have expected to win. The opposition have then got something in the game to hang onto and have sat deep for large parts. I’m probably grasping at straws but maybe it may help?

Where did I apply them in the context of our season? Or the subsequent points you mention?

I haven’t suggested anything, just posting actual facts.

I’m sure you’ll apologise for taking what was a relatively simple post to attack it but I guess not

Your reply implied to me you thought they had merit. I apologise if you don't think they mean anything.

To be clear though, presenting stats out of context is a form of spinning. That's allI meant.

An odd appointment that almost certainly had nothing to do with Edu.

Who would we get in though? (Who'd actually be willing to take over)

Some outlets saying he´s handed his resignation in immediately post match. Saying players won't work for him!
