Ange always felt like a short term appointment, probably because a coach who we really wanted wasn’t available. The problem as I see it isn’t getting rid of him, which I now expect, but who we get to replace him.

In which case for me the sooner the better Yeah pretty much, the debate is just whether it makes sense to give a new manager a better fixture swing and to make it clear a manager would be given at least some time, might make it easier to appoint someone in the future. It also gives you the slim chance of it clicking in attack and we win a few games.

The thinking seemed to be, of those known to fans, that Glasner and Iraola would be preferred picks, and Silva would be decent and perhaps more attainable. If you want to be optimistic, all 3 have contracts that expire at the end of this season fwiw. Beyond that I have no idea.

I think the first two wouldnt be interested anyway and I just don't see Silva leaving mid-season (although its definitely worth a crack at getting him) something to revisit in the summer perhaps? Who's out of work?

In my head I was hoping Ange was that man who takes us through this season and we get a preferred pick in the summer. So that’s the problem.

Silva and Iraola look like they’re arguing on the sidelines. Probably over who gets our job :)
