The free kick tonight was a carbon copy of the Sunday one. Before it was taken, we knew what was going to happen. So why didn't the players?

Only Nottingham Forest can have their best season for 30 years, qualify for Europe, just need to add a couple of elite signings to push on……..then completely implode.
We all know where this season is heading, bloody pin stripe kits

Our owner doesn't like stability. It's his fault. All of it.

6 without a win is absolutely not good enough, especially with the fixtures we had.
Our fans enough, probably the worst in the league. Embarrassing sacked in the morning chants after 6 games. And chanting for Nuno?? It's like cheering on your ex that cheated on you. An absolute myth about the best fans in the league.

After last night I don’t really have the energy to get into it but Sels is a great example. Take a look at the Sunderland goal, his attempt to save it was shocking. Had that been Turner, Miguel or one of those from before they would have been slated. There’s something clearly wrong with Milenkovic as he doesn’t seem to be able to jump properly at the moment. The way Sangare backed off for their third when all he needed to do was poke the ball away beggared belief. And let’s not mention Morato. None of the above is related to coaching.

That is how I saw it too. The I shall not let the ball go into our net at any cost was completely lacking. The desire and never say die attitude to not concede just wasn't there. No will to get there first etc.

I don't think there's a link between our recent achievements and not learning from our own mistakes with regards to recruitment and enforced styles of play.
It's completely separate.

How on earth can a professional manager set his teams up defensively like that then repeatedly do it? I have purposely stayed quiet on Ange as I actually like the fella as a person.
But he tactically is probably the most naive manager I have seen in some time. Football isn't just about attacking it is about defending too. That zonal marking setup is a joke, an absolute embarrassment. If you are going to go zonal then you have to block the runners to stop them getting a run and a free head at the ball. Our static defenders are not out jumping anybody with a run. It happens time and time again. Why on earth does he not use blockers if indeed we continue to go zonal. Then when were static for the second ball they are already on the move do of course they are going to be the quickest to react for the second ball. Ange famously said he does not work on set pieces and boy can we tell. No way back from here when a ground turns like that. It was horrific to see and be a part of. I was just as embarrassed by that as I am the set piece defending. A total shambles.

I suspect that should we lose against both Newcastle and Porto then Ange will be gone. I'm afraid that our owner who was bruised by the end of last season, was carried away by the dream of pure, fluid attacking football and saw Ange as the man to deliver that.
