Bad draw then since Madrid will be strong favourites. I wanted Man City distracted, they’ll be able to concentrate on the league, strengthened by new players.

You never know though.

Yes a Man City win would be good but it is looking unlikely at the minute.

Before a ball had been kicked this season I would have snatched your hand off for a Conference League place.

Sadly I would feel a little disappointed if that is what we end up with now.

Best way to look at it is this if 70 points is the target for champions league then
Forest require 7 wins and a draw from 14 games.
Chelsea require 9 wins.
Man city and Newcastle need 9 wins and a draw from 14.
Bournemouth would need 10 wins from 14 games
Villa need 11 wins from 14 games.
Can you really see villa only losing 3 games or Bournemouth putting in a 10 game winning streak?
But I do feel like forest can win half their games left of the season. European football is coming to the Trent.

It's a horrible thought Pap but if it helps our European chances then I can live with it for 90 minutes.

Guilty as charged…
if it helps create a situation where the top 8 get into Europe then that’s a safety net I’m willing to bite on the rope for.
