Sniff, do you know how well the news is going down in Greece that Marinakis is splashing serious cash for players for us?
If he went out and bought another club whilst still owning us and spent shed loads of money on new players for them, rather than us, I'd be a bit miffed to be honest.
Well, we've only signed Dawson on a free at the minute so they haven't gone into meltdown yet.
They (Olympiakos) are also signing players so everything is calm at the moment.
That could change though when the 2 Portugese finally sign plus some others, especially if Olympiakos start the new season badly.

Does anyone else think we already have signings pretty much tied up but holding off for the new kit to be available for the pictures?
With this guy being a left winger also so is one of the boys from Portugal you could say we look to have one player at his peak with an 15 million understudy. Then the right you have lolley and cash with players like gomis to come up from the youth teams We should have a team built to counterattack down the wings. But all this creativity won't mean anything if we can't put the ball in the net.

Any ideas what their transfer record is? Have they ever spent anything like 15m on a single player?

Every year we hear managers saying that they want to get their business done early.
It never happens.
Players go on holiday in June and everything stops.
Re the kit launch, the club so at long last seem to have a competent PR operation so it could be a factor but I'd just put delays down to the normal stuff like agents, international games, negotiations taking time etc.

''Hilal Soudani is currently in London, hanging out with Essaid Belkalem.
Could he be finalising a move in England to Nottingham Forest?''

I thought the Adidas deal does not expire until 1st of July 2018.
In which case there will be no new kit launched until the Adidas deal expires ?

We probably need to see a few more exit first before many more come it.
Dawson + the Portuguese fella's is not a bad start if all done this week.

Forest getting new sponsors? For a bigger slice of revenue? If Forest are 'going places' under the new owners, it would be great to hear that sponsorship revenue is increasing especially in light of the ambitious new signings.

If done this week, it adds confidence to that Forest are in the market for quality and that they mean business regarding other key positions e.g. Striking dept.
ie. They'll spend what it takes to get that quality place in that position for the 'Karanka Revolution.'

I must say that I am a bit surprised that this deal for Soudani is still not completed.
I thought it was nailed on to be done these last few days.
