Injuries And Suspensions

Hope that’s wrong but I say again how is it possible a professional can do that 6 minutes into a match? Our physios have some explaining to do, hopefully in a 1:1 meeting with Mr Marinakis.

It's hard to tell as we don't really.know the injury record of these players, McKenna for example has had loads of injuries in his career.

An observation from half time last night.

Brighton subs. Doing rigorous and structured warm up drill with their physio team.

Forest subs. Players ambling around lobbing balls between themselves, none of training staff to be seen.

Hope Neco is OK but rumours are broken jaw, hugely disappointing given he was just starting to look a player again and reverting to a back 3 really suiting him.

Then Niakhate, yet another hamstring apparently. So we are down to our last 2 fit centre backs for the remaining games. Any more injuries or a red card we will be in big trouble. Now of course we don’t even have the option of a back 3 if we want to.

Broken bones we can do little about. But some people on here constantly looking for a scapegoat and want it to be the manager. How about you pick on this years biggest failing, the medical and physio teams for our ridiculous amount of soft tissue injuries.
Kouyate played an entire season for Palace in at CB
He also played there for West Ham.
He will be next man up for CB cover.

Times reporting Williams has broken his jaw and will be out for the rest of the season. Due to have surgery on it today.

It's like we're not allowed to have multiple healthy players in the same position. The moment Aurier gets healthy we lose Williams!

Very self inflicted this one. Need to wrap Aurier in cotton wool now. Who's the backup RB now, Toff?!

Neco had his best game for us last night. He was excellent and we will miss him. Brennan needs to step up in role down right. We will also be be able to play with wing backs now. This injury hurts us.

Cooper described the injury to Niakhate as inconclusive so based on Cooper language means he'll probably play tomorrow.

Awoniyi shoulder issue, don’t know if it will stop him playing.

Shelvey available for selection again.

Awoniyi had an ice pack on his shoulder on the bench after he came off.

Taiwo makes a massive difference to us. Cannot afford him to be missing
