Anyone asking for Jokanovic should look at his time at Fulham and their journey whilst he was there.
The more I read is it so different to a business review? Assess at Jan to define further ongoing relationship? It may not be quite as cut throats as we think and maybe more of a business meeting?
Maybe Aitor is feeling the tension as he knows the big mans previous dealings? If aitor knew previously this may explain his increasingly strange demeanour in interviews, getting on the defensive?

I'd be getting defensive if Chippers kept probing the way he has been doing.

When this team clicks, it is a joy to watch: to get five goals at Villa, three at Norwich, and beat or draw with most of the top runners, with players who are still gelling, is some feat.
True there certainly needs to be improvement in the defence, but surely that will come in due course with a couple of new players. There is much to admire in what Karanka has done, and frustration too, but these things take time. Sacking him now would just serve to exacerbate a developing situation.

Something is wrong, some decisions made are wrong, some players playing at times is wrong, some signings have been wrong.
If EM can get a better manager in now, who can command better players following him to join NFFC in January, then now is the time to make that decision. My fear is AK stays and NO NEW signings and he goes in the summer. My preference would be he leaves, new manager and another significant investment by EM in January. So on the balance of things - I don't mind if he gets the sack, provided the next manager is better and this allows significant investment in Jan. You can see that NFFC fans are not happy - the split again - the ferocious attacks on players as opposed to fans supporting the team. That's the downhill slope...…...we are well on it. It may be time now for AK to depart it does seem.

And I should add, if Jardim is available and if we replace AK with him - that would be a positive improvement. For all the upset of another manager change that would be an improvement, by a significant margin, in my books.

What's the point in appointing a new manager now, supposing this new manager fails to get us into the plays offs, what then, sack him in may and start again?

He gets his 1st transfer window next week and has 12 months to cement us into the playoff positions. Similar deal to AK. AK is an upgrade on Warbs. ?? should be an upgrade on AK. Constant improvement.

EM has nothing to lose, he owns the club and its his money - if he messes up he will pay for it.
If a new manager comes in and we start winning then all the internet will be fill of how bad AK was and he was the problem. If a new manager comes in and we don't improve the internet will be full of how it was a bad decision to sack him and he was so good. That's the simple reality - EM will make the right*/wrong* decision in the fans eyes in 10 games time (*delete as appropriate)

Brum spent 2 Mill last summer. They are above us. Qpr spent nothing and are now above us. 2 new managers also. Norwich spent 4 mill

They also have a points deduction hanging over them
