All I’ll say having learnt from watch the nfl, that concussion are not linear, there’s no thing as a mild concussion. And it might be a while for it to sort out.

I mean yes we’ve all seen heart things quickly raise their head for pro athletes especially with footballers suffering cardiac events on the pitch, so it’s nothing to be sniffed at, I hope it’s just something that came from his last games and not this. Although erikssen has worked through his issues eventually!

Indeed. The Miami Dolphins quarterback has been out for several weeks due to concussion.

Miamis management did Tua dirty! He even went into the fencing position after a hit and that’s real bad!

Perhaps it is this virus too and yates was the first to come down with it and it just so happened he couldn’t continue at Bournemouth. Only they really know and I guess they’re in a business of not letting your opponents know too much!

Rumour that Lodi is injured now too. It's come from an Anderlecht reporter saying that we're not letting Toffolo go yet because of it.

Just have to hope Lodi is ok!

Have we, or any other team, been so cursed by injuries in a season? Not just 1 or 2 key players, it must be well over 10 now that have had significant injuries.

Not to mention Richards and Niakhate (I wonder if we'll ever see either play for us again/ever).

We got rid of the recruitment team earlier this season, do we need to have a proper look at the physios and medical team? Or have all the injuries just been unlucky?

Bad luck in some cases but I think in others we've not helped ourselves. Both Awoniyi and MGW looked like they were struggling in matches but played on for a while before being subbed off.

Completely agree. The Awoniyi one was seemingly so avoidable. Nothing we can do about Kouyate getting injured at the World Cup. Hendo was one of those things. Etc. But I've just never known anything like the season we're having with injuries.

Hopefully good news. This is from the Athletic:

"The caution is not motivated by any injury problem suffered by Lodi — who is fit to face Manchester United tomorrow night."

That's a massive kick in the teeth.

Do you think Cooper does this with all the injuries to keep the opposition guessing and give the fans that extra boost when they see him on the team sheet?

Or do you think he just genuinely isn't sure so gives an estimate?

Cooper seems too honest to me for it to be the former.

"I remember when Morgan got injured against Valencia, we thought he was going to be out for a lot longer than he ended up being, so some guys can recover quicker than others. It's difficult to give you an estimate, and if it was, that's all it would be.

"All we know is he won't be playing against United, and he won't be available in the short-term. But let's focus on the guys who are."

Sounds like he'll miss a few games at least then
