Doesn't look like it does it.

To be fair it looked like he didnt fancy Frueler either and he was shite when he got his chance. Maybe we should be learning to just trust the manager's judgement? I dunno.

I dunno either but perhaps our coach needs to be more flexible and start setting up to play to peoples strengths and stop staying loyal to some player's who wouldn't get near any other teams starting eleven in this division that we find ourselves in.

I’m not sure either of us were suggesting that we don’t trust his judgment?

My point was that he was signed, has had opportunities to come in and we’ve signed Boly and Bade since

I'm questioning my own perspective really. I want to see a change in personnel but also respect the manager's judgement more than any manager's judgement as far as i can remember. That's the dilemma.

TBF Biancone looked very iffy in a few on the pre-season games, especially against Notts when he looked so far off the required pace.

You certainly wouldn’t be playing him ahead of Worrall as a RCB and no way does he get in front of Williams or Aurier for right back / RWB

He will need to get to grips in training and impress Coops sufficiently.

At present I would say he is 6th choice CB

''Biancone has proven himself at the highest level in France and Belgium over recent years and he recognises what we want to build at Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.”

“He’s a versatile defender who is a very strong addition at centre-back or on the right. We’re delighted to welcome him to Nottingham Forest.” - Steve Cooper.

I think this is an excellent point and everyone could do with taking that view. Cooper sees more than us. Certainly, change for changes sake isn't really worth it. Why bring in someone that has been deemed not as good when someone else has played a few games and is beginning to settle. You lose the benefit to that player of gaining experience to play someone who is unlikely to just come and in be excellent, partly due to lack of games and partly due to being worse in the first place.

For better of for worse, it'd be better to stick with the core. Although, doesn't really excuse the benching of O'Brien. Even if Dennis or Freuler or whoever comes in. They're going to get what one game? 60 mins? Pretty unlikely they come in and have enough of an impact to change the game. More likely everyone comes out saying "oh yeah thats why he wasn't picking them", like with Freuler last week.

There was a sack full of poor performances last week not sure why Freuler keeps getting picked on.

The Atalanta coach in Serie A gets a tune out of him and thinks he's brilliant as does the Switzerland coach against top class opposition.

Agreed Sniff. Did anyone see Freuler v Spain at the weekend? He was excellent.
