Back on track...
3 points against Stoke and both Karanka and Forest will be in a very strong position going into the break.
Aitor is at present doing a very good job in my opinion, long may it continue.

Unless we hit some really poor form between now and Xmas we should see a manager last a full season, and deservedly so. Yes he's spent big, but let's not forget the players sold and the amount other teams have spending whilst we've been buying garbage or freeloaders.
A total overhaul was needed, finished product could well be after Jan window. Then a strong push for auto spot.

We have had a very tough run of games, Boro, Norwich, Leeds. Sheff. United and we have got a decent points return.
Aitor came out swinging for the Sheff' Utd game.
Well done to him and team.
All held the no.1 spot and Forest have beaten (and should have beaten three) two of them, neutralised Leeds but after a lead against Norwich, stuffed it up.
If they had beaten Norwich, Forest would be top.

Hope we get the 3 points v Stoke nd not do a Norwich. We need to be consistent all round...result nd performance. If we get these 3 points i think that the chances of us remaining in the top 6 until January will be good...
I repeat our strengthing has to be that, strengthening nd not getting players to cover who we have. We should target players that are key players in their teams...not rejects..we need to make our financial 'strength' make the difference...look at teams like Blackburn, Bentford nd even Birmingham...target their best players...maybe the odd player from teams at the lower places in the Premiership. There must be some good players that improve us, from Cardiff nd the Brighton of this world...nit players that r not even making the bench, but players that for this division will make the diffetence. I m not talking of signing six or seven players...three will do...a keeper, a defender or two nd a midfielder. I think upfront we r already in a good state...if we improve the other areas the strikers that we have will score even more...at the moment nd in some games, theg have to feed on scraps...imagine if we have a dominant midfield tgat imposes our game for most of the game ...send out on loan three or four ...for different reasons...nd the upgrade in staff should be partially compensated..

We are awash with average central midfielders and wide players. Diaz and Cash have disdappointed this season and Geddy cannot carry the midfield alone.
If we are going to spend big this january window, I would bring in a commanding central midfielder and keeper. Pants has at times been pants and I dont see Colback in the same way as some of you guys do and all the other plodders in the squad in that position bring little to the table. Jacob may help but oh for a Archie Gemmil to bring some speed, bite and umpf to the center of the park. We need another Lolley type find for the other side from him and the importance of a reliable keeper cannot be over stated.

Happy to see that the Karanka link to Sporting has gone away, or doesn't appear to have gone any further.

It was a pivotal result. Out of all the results, it was the one that disappointed me the most.
Norwich aren't anything special.
But they beat Forest...who just seem to lose confidence, fight, passion. Whatever it is, it may simply be missing from the squad...and have to be corrected in the next window. But in fairness to Norwich, they are ahead of Forest in terms of development. A year ahead at least and have been in the Premier more recently. And I wouldn't bet against them to go up this season.
I have a particular gripe about losing to Norwich at the best of times...
I want Norwich to lose their next game and Forest to win theirs. Otherwise it's a 9(?) point gap to top. Norwich aren't that good v Forest. But Norwich may be more consistent of late.
Eg. They showed the bite and fight to see off Millwall whereas Forest just plain old wilted.
Norwich. Meh.

Aitor is doing just fine at the moment.
We need to stick with him, I am convinced that he will deliver us promotion, if not this season then next season.

Ladies and Gentlemen, even if we lose today can we please refrain from posting about Karanka being replaced by Jokanovic or MON.
Just thought I would get that in first.
In Karanka we trust.
