That's the thing about our new owners, they are bloody ruthless! If Karanks asks for 20M our owners will give it to him with pleasure, however. if he fails to deliver after spending that 20M then he will be gone. That's the way they operate and conduct their business.

Vydra and another decent striker would be great. I have no doubt karanka knows what is required

Absolutely agree Jock, and if Karanka doesn't get what he wants, it won't be because of our owners, it will simply be that the player doesn't want to come.

We are probably in a position now where we can spend big and survive 2 seasons before an Embargo if we fail to get promotion. So it makes sense to spend big this season and attempt to get promotion next season, if that fails the squad will be there and can be refined for a further attempt.

The only way to go up is to spend big now........so this is the big chance.

I would agree with the thinking behind this........lets hope it happens. Interesting season next season.

I agree JWJW, everything seems to be in place now to have a real good go at it. I haven't looked forward to a new season so much in years. I am actually excited!

Jose Mourinho not believed to be targeting Nottingham Forest boss Aitor Karanka to be new Manchester United No.2 (Nottingham Post). I am glad to hear that. I think we are lucky to have Aitor.
