Sow is out of contract so he's going. Fred will have offers from Scandinavia. Surely we should hang onto Colback and I for one have not given up on Arter just yet.

But then again - so does the reluctance to utilise Colback?

I suspect - subject to acceptable deals being tabled - we may have seen the last of both in the garibaldi red.

Sow maybe so he is out of contract regardless. Although as has been said I would play him in certain games until we are 100% safe and Cardiff for me is one of those games.

Colback hmmm. We are stuck with him for another 2 seasons on 20k per week. He had form at Newcastle for not caring if he sits around not playing whilst on a lucrative contract. I hate to say I told you so last summer.

I think Colback needs a good pre-season behind him. He had a bad injury and then he got injured again and I don't think we've seen him in the eleven since. I am guessing that he may be similar to Lolley meaning that he needs to be managed. Hopefully a break over the summer and a good pre-season and we'll see Colback back to his best next season.

Regarding Sow playing against Cardiff I think Cafu and Garner have been really good and I see no reason to change that.

I dont think he'll be on 20k per week, not sure where that figure is being pulled from. I'm not really sure what is expected of him in this scenario either, he's not gonna tear up his contract. The risk with him was that he got injured again, which he did hence why he ended up out of the team. Then he got replaced with a better player. Sadly we also signed another three players in that position for some reason!

I'm very interested in where Hughton goes in terms of CMs this Summer.

I can see Sow and Arter being moved on. I'm not convinced we'll keep Garner. Fred? He'll be out too.

So that would leave us with Yates and Cafu with Colback as well. We'll need to bring in a ball playing CM.

As for Cardiff. Hope we get some kind of result against them. Owd Magic Mick.

Probably target our fullbacks and Fig'. Just a guess.

Mad Mick had Cardiff flying before the international break. Hopefully the break came at a bad time for them and a good time for us.

I am confident we can get a point with a display like we saw at Brentford.

Very unfair if Scotland ask McKenna to play tomorrow - just 48 hours before the Cardiff game.

I wouldn't be very happy about that.

A lot of championship clubs thinking that no doubt.

Hopefully McKenna can be good for Monday. Two games in 3 days might be a bit much for Wozza, especially as he's probably going to get a few elbows in his ribs from those Cardiff ruffians. We might get to see Mbe Soh on Friday?

Agreed.

What's the point of a two week break if internationals have a fixture so close to next domestic game?
