After initial promise with Clough's performances he seemed to 'fall down a rabbit hole.'  His bright performances were in a relegation threatened side...that might mean something...or not...with the standard of the squad at the time?  Very poor.

Maybe off the field issues related to how young he is?  But you've got to handle being in the limelight.

Forest have probably moved beyond Clough in ACM with Car, Os', Lolley and Soudani all far more capable options there.

As for Aryibi.  You're a young player.  It's all about attitude.  The right one.  And if you haven't got the 'right' attitude then Aitor Karanka is the manager that will find out real soon...and you'll be offloaded.

3.5 million.  One gets the sense that those signings would not have been made under the current leadership.

You win some and lose some on signings.  But the current signings are of a higher standard than under the previous regime.

It's called ambition.

I will forgive Brazil for that because of all the great work he has done with our Academy.

However, I hope we have learned our lesson.

Presuming Tachtsidis is up to scratch then I'd have no problem with this. Colback, Yacob, Guedi, Tachtsidis, Osborn and Yates is plenty.

Plus it leaves scope to bring in another CM without clogging up the squad further.

In my opinion what is written above stops at Colback, Yacob and Geddy.

If Bridcutt and Watson are to go we need to sign a 'powerhouse enforcer type' who is ready to come straight in and play for what will be the business end of the season.

Watson has been reforged under The Coach.  No question when many pilloried his performances last season and questioned his future at Forest.  He is a player reborn.  No doubt.

Forest brought in that much needed Mr. General under Aitor. Only he was in the twilight of his career.... His character and experience are embellished on this Forest side. And he's on the pitch as the extension of 'The Coach' himself implementing the battle plan.

However, he needs 'The Wrecking Ball' alongside him who is younger, more energetic and can impose himself in a more progressive way all over the pitch.  Sow is the fulcrum shift of the Forest side and is Talismanic.

How do we know?  Forest with him and Forest without him this season tell a tale of two Forests.

We need to look no further than tot he last game.  Forest fell apart without Sow very quickly and without Sow will do well to keep a top 6 place.  And taking Yates off only compounded the injury.

Formidable.  Yes.
