I'll probably get laughed at for this but I'd make a big play for Peter Crouch absolute menace at this level I reckon even at 37 if you could off load Murphy and get Crouch....
Mind you saying that maybe Murphy after a summer off get that world cup crap out his system comes back in the summer how he started last year, if he did he's still a good impact player from the bench
Season 3 for Ben as well, very hard season 2 for a kid his age, now he comes back knowing exactly what standard is required and that a poor season this season puts his whole career on the slide now that's the type of motivation that can match what we saw when he first broke into the team and still saw plenty of glimpses of last season. No matter who we sign up front they have no guarantee that Ben is going to just warm the bench

BB will be pushing who ever comes in for that starting spot hes going to want to play . Get him on the defenders shoulder and running the channels with Lolley and 2 benfica lads we attack with pace now . A good preseason and he will be ready

Last couple of years I would have snapped your hand off if you offered me Oliviera but now with money to spend and a new sense of optimism am I being greedy in wanting someone better and more prolific?

Would be pretty underwhelmed with Olivera to be honest. Just my opinion but often though he flattered to deceive. Also let his head go down far too easily. With the money we reportedly have I’d hope we could bring in a more complete forward with a physical presence who can bring others into play while banging in the goals as well.....
