Barnsley - Nottingham Forest

Think we will see a team coming out for a pre-season match as no-one cares about this cup and it adds extra games into an already condensed season. That is how i would play it and same with FA cup. No point in putting out the first team and let others deal with having 3 or 4 games in a week if the second string side gets knocked out. This season it's promotion or nothing.

Tomorrow’s game means bugger all.
The season proper doesn’t start until next week.

A certain Mr Clough would have had your guts for gaiters with a comment like that . Whilst the league was always his priority he wanted to win every game and every cup and get into a winning mentality.

Wouldn't be risking the likes of Lolley, Sow or Colback. Let's see what some of the squad players can do.

Interesting line up.

Sow still has a knee injury according to NEP. And Colback hasn't played competitive football due to that nasty injury he got.

Wouldn't it have been better to have had the surgery he needs and get on with rehab?  I doubt playing with a knee problem is going to make it any better.  Unless resting it can heal it.

Anyone with any news on Sow's mystery Knee problem?

Think he will put out the same team and formation he intends to use at QPR next week. Be interesting to see who is fit, agree probably Darikwa starts and Fred if Colback isnt ready.
Any word on Silva? Gone very quiet with him, is he even in the country?

In Sabri's interview he said that Silva definitely won't play tomorrow. Don't think he said why.

That's a good call. He might still be able to play a part.
