I wouldn't trust anything taylor writes

I’m unlikely to renew my Athletic subscription. I hoped that Paul Taylor would improve after shedding the shackles of the Post but his column is garbage. Danny Taylor’s pieces on the club are superb - but infrequent given his prime focus on the Premier League.

One's an award winning journalist, the other's a local football journo, so perhaps understandable the two seem miles apart. I too won't be renewing The Athletic. I don't read it except for just the occasional article about NFFC and there's only a couple of these a week. So not worth the outlay IMO.
