The objection had been raised in relation to the new Peter Taylor stand. Objections were always going to come in from the owners of the houses. Its down to the planners how much weight is attached to them. Just because someone objects, it doesnt mean the application willl be blocked. The planning officer is the arbiter. They balance the pros and cons. If theres something they're unhappy with, they enter a negotiation with the applicant to see if the scheme can be adapted to design out the issues. If not then its down to the planning commitee to hear the arguements and make a decision.
