Nothing their fans have done make me want them not to win - for me it's 100% down to how they treated the Spurs match. It helped them knock us out of the competition and could have got us relegated too.

Emery shoved two fingers up to the league as well. Ok, the actual team he put out v Spurs should have been perfectly capable of being competitive on the day, but he sent them out with no intention of competing in the game. They were dreadful and Emery just stood there on the side lines like a statue and watched it happen. After the appaling 1st half they came out in the second half and were just as bad. And Emery made no meaningful subs to try to change the game. They players had clearly been told to lay off the gas, not get injured and cruise through the game unscathed. It cheated all the other clubs fighting Spurs down at the bottom. It was a simply dreadful thing to do.

Worked though, we sent MGW into the game to work hard and it probably cost us any chance of winning that second leg (and maybe his England spot). It did secure us safety though.
