Non of us know the exact truth we can only come to our own conclusions... there is a saying that comes to.kind though.... something to do with fire and smoke.
Not saying I believe a word of the rumours but just adding that he could never publicly admit to anything of the sort.
The fact that he referenced being the lawyer that helped Keegan take Newcastle to court about it (I had no idea). Suggests that he could be trusted. Surely you have to trust his professional integrity.
I'm sure he would quit if put in that position

I wasn't saying he was lying either just that, if there were any truth to the rumours, he wouldn't say it in thatbsetting in his position
