What Did you expect him to say???? Whether there is any truth in it or not he could never ever sit there and admit to it. I mean that would be career suicide...
Non of us know the exact truth we can only come to our own conclusions... there is a saying that comes to.kind though.... something to do with fire and smoke.
Not saying I believe a word of the rumours but just adding that he could never publicly admit to anything of the sort.
