They were good for 2 seasons at QPR, where everything went through him and he took every set piece.at Brizzle not so much, only 11 matches for Sheff U, but no goals or assists-in Prem to be fair.
I would love him to come back fit and firing and replicate his best stats (5 goals and 12 assists in 47 games). I just worry that like so many others, he peaked around 2017. His next best season was 8 goals 6 assists in 44 games. In context last season Lolley had 10 goals and 9 assists last season in 44 games when many felt he wasn't on song for a large part of early season. (Previous season 12 and 11).
Just not convinced at all.
He arrived (yes, with much fanfare) unfit or certainly very below match fit due to not featuring in Wilders plans for the last year. With no real preseason with Forest he didn't have the best of starts. You can see a similar pattern to Colback and Knocker.
I understand what you're saying. There were times I wondered what the hype was about. But with his stats and track record if we harness his ability for assists and goals he could be part of what we're missing. And allow us to rotate our winger options as both Ameobi and Lolley seem Burnt out. Particular Lolley from the last season.
I think we still need another quality no.10 to add a more intricate mix of attacking play.
