So good that they offered him a new contract and actually won (not nominated) April PL manager of the month award.
He signed it and then they pulled the rug from under him and sold their best players.
It was always a false economy though. They won 6 in a row which sounds good but it was against the three relegated teams, plus Spurs/Man Utd that were not resting players for Europa plus West Ham!

That's not spinning anything, just what happened. You could make a reasonable comparison to Dyche in the three recent games I suppose as he did not earn 9 points.

Sniffer I think its the knee jerk appointments on a regular basis that most of us fans dislike, no long term plan along with a long term appointment, EM is not helping himself in this regard but beleive he want the best for the club.

The Wolves fan I work with said exactly this. To balance it out, look what Spurs said about Nuno

Some fans last night were disgraceful, getting on players backs early on when at least they were trying. I know I like a whinge on here but I promise you I am supportive in the stadium and I stayed to clap the team off last night, it wont be reported but Im certain there were more people who stayed and were appreciative than there were idiots who were giving abuse.
One good thing about relegation might be that a lot of those idiots disappear and dig out the Chelsea shirts they were wearing in 2010.
