5 matches. In his defence, 4 were away from home, he has inherited some instability, he started away to Arsenal after a couple of days of training and we were well beaten. Then 4 matches where we’ve been the better team, created better chances but not got the win.
Going against him, 3 of those fixtures look very winnable on paper, and I guess people will say looking promising but losing is a feature not a bug, because of his ‘naive’ style.
I don’t know, I don’t read much about tactics and I didn’t analyze him at Spurs, I’m just going to support him on Thursday and hope we can build some momentum.

You can't say you were the better team in 4 games that you haven't won.

The more I think about it I am finding myself leaning towards the fact last season was a fluke season. I mean 2 seasons struggling to stay up by the skin of our teeth then out of nowhere we have an amazing season which at the end was already falling away. All we have done really is gone back to the levels we are. Don't think it would matter who was incharge this season it was a back to normal season and being brought back to reality.

Sorry, that takes away everything the coaching staff and players did. You can't fluke 38 games. Add to the fact we got FAC semi as well.
No, we had an identity, a close knit group and a manager who knew what he was doing.

Yes and No.
The identity thing I agree with and sympathise with Nuno over lack of pre season but not sure that was avoidable. Bringing in so many does destabilise a close knit group but again most (not all) of that was necessary.
Agree with McForest in that I reckon we were a one trick pony last season. Nuno did know what he was doing but there was no other way. We hit a purple patch with players coming in to form, confidence grew around the squad, we were incredibly lucky with injuries (yes skill there too) and you ended up with a team that believed it could go an knock anyone over.
But against any opponent who adapted their game to counter us we then fell short, Everton was classic. The cup run if we are honest was flukey and sometimes painful.
To an extent we are reverting to normal. Spending £30m on players in this league guarantees you absolutely nothing, certainly doesn’t mean you magically have a top 10 squad. All of that means it possibly wasn’t the wisest thing to bring in a coach with a completely different ethos but he’s also arrived at a very difficult time.

Am I the only one who is enjoying it and thinks that we are playing some good stuff?
We have created 40 chances in the last 2 league games and scored 1 goal, is that Ange's fault? That chance Wood missed yesterday (that header) is it Ange's fault?
I think he will get time and I think he deserves some time.
I haven't forgotten how shit we were at the end of last season which was long before Ange arrived and don't get me started on West Ham at home.

Is it worth noting that last season it took 9 matches for glasner to record his first win or the season. The season before it to ariola 10 games.

Can we assume that Edu did not have any say regards Ange's appointment although he is head of globall football, wonder what his take is on this? Over ruled possibly by EM, if this is the case then a onther internal upset down the line, I would have thought that head coach appointments would be in his remit?

Edu wanted the Rayo coach, he turned us down, so we got the job for a mate in

That’s a very fair point.
But both of those managers came with a better recent track record in terms of not losing games than Ange ?
They also didn’t put their new teams in the relegation zone in those interim periods I believe?
Admittedly Ange hasn’t yet but we could be in if results don’t go our way this coming couple of weeks.
