Then see where his game is at in the summer.

You do read some amusing posts on here.

Or is he better learning his trade where he is? I was being pedantic, hence laughing thingy. That said, both Christie and Knockeart were not in starting XI near end of season or in Play offs. Being good in 2017 is neither here nor there. Although I actually thought after 1stc10 mins against Bournemouth, Christie did a decent job of stopping a very tricky looking winger. Back on thread, it's great to see our youngsters doing so well out on loan (and Tyler at Cov too). They are and have been the life blood of our club for years.

I see both Chelsea & West Ham are being linked with bids for our ex Academy full back Matthew Bondswell from Leipzig - one that unfortunately got away.

He was mates with Mighten wasn’t he? Same year group. On my obsession with young Alex, I see he didn’t feature for the U23’s in the win today. Is this good for his development? Training with the first team but sat on the bench? I feel like we’re letting him down. He was one of the ‘elite’ talents with Bondswell. These are the kids we need to be giving game time to. We bought Da Costa and loaned in Diakhaby. All that money wasted when we could have given him game time. Then when he starts getting it we sack the manager and the new one is too scared to play him :sleepy: #freealex

Clubs will no longer be able to sign U18 players from overseas after Brexit, and indeed all EU signings will now need to qualify for a work permit.

Surely means academy players value is even higher than it already was. Let's hope we manage to get Cat 1 too when that opportunity is available again |
