Sabri Ball - Redreg - 25-08-2019 Was this the first glimpse of sabri ball yesterday resolute defending at its best compact solid unit , but for me Grabbens first yesterday was magic everyplayer touched the ball with some quick 1-2’s movement on and off the ball much more of this too come i think . I remember a similar goal last season under karanka before things went sour and that was half way through season . Can’t wait for joao to join the party. RE: Sabri ball - Username - 25-08-2019 The touches from Sow and Silva in the build up to the first were class. RE: Sabri ball - BadDog - 25-08-2019 That was one of the best goals we have scored in years, good thing is we are just getting started. RE: Sabri ball - ozzyten10 - 25-08-2019 Very similar to our goal v Ipswich last year in Karanka’s famous ‘glum’ interview game. RE: Sabri ball - ozzyten10 - 25-08-2019 Sabri has got us to that stage in 5 games as opposed to 30 and against better opposition. RE: Sabri ball - Redreg - 26-08-2019 Exactly what i was thinking but i also think Joao will make a big difference to how we play aswell if we keep Grabs and dawson fit and anything is possible, lolley not hit the heights of last season yet i expect more to come from silva Semedo and bostock once they have settled. I like how sabri wants us to play . Very encouraging indeed. RE: Sabri Ball - wassy04 - 26-08-2019 Where do we think Joao fits in Sabri ball then? (If at all right now!) replacing silva perhaps? Obviously Lolley/Grabban are set in stone and the ameobi/adomah rotation looks good so only option is silva I guess RE: Sabri Ball - Maltared - 26-08-2019 (26-08-2019, 11:24 AM)wassy04 Wrote: Where do we think Joao fits in Sabri ball then? RE: Sabri Ball - Paplane - 26-08-2019 Silva's arrival may lower the games burden for Carvalho, meaning he might not have a mid season dip. RE: Sabri Ball - Mcforest - 26-08-2019 It's a nice problem to have and then you also have Yates to come back. RE: Sabri Ball - wassy04 - 26-08-2019 Yep and Semedo to fit in too if we’re thinking Sow/Watson are the other two. Very well stocked, should allow plenty of rotation for midweek etc. Although Sabri hasn’t exactly shown loads of inclination to make changes so far |
