Managers Interview Post Match - Maltared - 18-03-2019

Even though the man is being diplomatic and trying not to shoot the players, it is clear that how he ended the interview, he is starting to have enough of many of them.
A things stand, he cant do much now, but I expect that in the summer a good number of heads will roll.
The players need to understand that they are playing for a big club` ... maybe it was said nicely...but who had to get the message is going to get it ....
I will not be surprised to see the return of Bridcutt in the coming games as it seems the latter is not shy to play in the U23 and from reviews read, he is playing well there...

RE: MONs interview post Ipswich - Jasper Scarrott - 18-03-2019

I was not a happy man was he and why should he be?

I think he may have underestimated the job.

Having said that I think we are in good hands with MON and I trust him to get it sorted.

RE: MONs interview post Ipswich - Paplane - 18-03-2019

Just watched it. He seemed very frustrated and rightly so.

The ref didnt perform, the players neither.

Chippers was right, if we can string 2 or 3 wins together our club is going to just take off.

Good catch, Malta.  My (DAB digital radio - allegedly static free ) radio was static city so I couldn't quite hear what he was saying.  Thanks for creating a thread on it.

Aye.  It's man up city.  They're bottling it.  And I can't see MoN and Keane putting up with that.  Out of 9 points we've tossed 8 points that would have seen us well in the top 6.

He's given 'everybody' bar Liam B a chance.  What more can you do but shuffle the deck?

Diplomatic.  But hardy, har har...that axe cometh the Summer...

I'd like to see Liam return.  At least he puts his lot in.  Some really gutless performances in the last few matches.  Been doing well for the u23.  I think he's been harshly treated to a degree.  I like Watson and young Yates in 'context' but I think Liam could have been deployed in some matches to greater effect than some of the other players.

SA.

I think so.

As one poster once put it, 'It's the hope that kills you.'

"“What we have to do now is think about the game. This is an important message for the players – we are playing for a big club. You are playing for a big club. It is one that might have been in the doldrums for a number of years. But there is a real pride in playing for this club.

“There should be a real desire. It does not matter whether you have talent. You have to have all these things; things that are more than attributes.

“They are things that are actually within you. You have to produce on days like this; you have got to do it.

“It does not matter if you are travelling to face a side that has only won a few games. In the last few weeks I have seen them here and they have been playing very strongly.”

Yeah. He's telling them. Are they listening?

Reminding them, you're playing for Nottingham Forest. We are a big club.

Handle the heat in the kitchen or get out. Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen but diplomatic MoN style.

I guess we will find out when MON names his team for Swansea.

he made yacob captain in one game and we haven't seen him since besides coming on against wba. something must have happened there.

the media linking Ansarifard back to Greece to sign for Aris.

RE: MONs interview post Ipswich - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 20-03-2019

It's in the paper today that MON was not happy with Yacob for giving away that penalty against Wigan although he went on to say that is not the reason he has been left out (but I think it obviously contributed to it).

"you wouldnt have done that at wba" is what MON said to him apparently.  just goes to show MON wont tolerate mistakes.
