Summer 2024 - What Do We Need To Do? - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 20-05-2024
I would like Nuno to stay.
To have a less chaotic summer.
With 5 or 6 quality additions.
Hang on to our best players.
Try to get Mangala, Worrall, Vlachodimos, Turner and O'Brian out of the door before 30th June to enable us to keep MGW and Muriilo.

Tough ask. Losing MGW would be a body blow.

A Youngish Goalkeeper maybe someone like Kelleher
Full Back Positions need some strengthening
A new CB
Attacking options needed
Maybe a new midfielder
Probably be about 7/8

Lots to do this summer, lots of fringe players need to be taken off the wage bill, that alone is a really difficult task as we have seen with Harry Arter.
We need leadership and strong characters throughout the team to compliment some of the outstanding young players we have.
Certainly a top quality centre half, centre mid and striker.

For me it's just simply make sure we don't fail FFP again, by whatever means necessary. Then once that is done we see what we have left and what we need/who we need to replace.

Does anyone know where we are going to be FFP wise really? We have more headroom with the 3 year rolling assessment with another year in the prem. We have Johnson and Mangala money to go into the calculation but they are going to change the system anyway I think. Also finally Arter will be off the books! I really have no idea..

Surely we get the Johnson FFP money for this year of it got rejected as part of our case?
Spurs linked with CHO and MGW.
I think we are going to be fighting to keep the spine of our squad this summer. If a few say they want to go it could get messy. I really hope this doesn't happen.
At this stage id like to bring 5/6 players in to replace and improve exits.

Keep the core quality of the team
Announce purchase of freehold for CG and preferably that going ahead with PT stand

Centre back
Left back
Wide player
Midfielder
Another forward option
Then if MGW or Murillo leave they will need replacing on top of the above

Replacing Boly is number 1 priority. Nuno says without him we lack the aggression needed in that back line.
