Nottingham Forest - Burnley - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 12-09-2023 To be played on Monday 18 September 2023. At the world famous City Ground in Nottingham. Kick off is at 19:45. COYR! RE: Nottingham Forest - Burnley - McDurban - 12-09-2023 The most keenly anticipated team sheet in a while. Lots of questions. Dominguez & Sangare, who will start, who will be on the bench? Possible debuts off the bench for Origi. Will Murillo make the bench? Does Hudson-Odoi still have work to do on the training ground? Will Niakate dislodge McKenna who had a great game v Chelsea? Will we see a 4 or a 5 at the back? RE: Nottingham Forest - Burnley - northeastred - 12-09-2023 One of the strongest squads now. Should be no excuses not to play our strongest team, and attack and win the game, no way should we be going defensive 5 at the back at home RE: Nottingham Forest - Burnley - Salvatore Matrecano - 12-09-2023 Who is your midfield 3 then? Who is dropped from Yates Mangala and Danilo (if fit). RE: Nottingham Forest - Burnley - Salvatore Matrecano - 12-09-2023 (12-09-2023, 09:25 AM)northeastred Wrote: One of the strongest squads now. I can't handle been on edge and nerves for 80 mins after scoring first ha. We have a top ten squad now. Hopefully we start playing like one RE: Nottingham Forest - Burnley - Reds73 - 12-09-2023 (12-09-2023, 09:25 AM)Salvatore Matrecano Wrote: Who is your midfield 3 then? Sangare should be a certain starter, and I think Mangala is the one likely to be on the bench. If playing a 3 then it’s Sangare, Danilo plus either Yates or Domingues I think Danilo is likely to be out with his hamstring, so depending on how we set up I think Sangare, Yates and Domingues would be the likely 3 RE: Nottingham Forest - Burnley - Forest1970 - 12-09-2023 (12-09-2023, 10:06 AM)Reds73 Wrote:(12-09-2023, 09:25 AM)Salvatore Matrecano Wrote: Who is your midfield 3 then? That would be my choice of 3 in the midfield with Danilo coming back in for Yates when fit but either way what a strong midfield we have now and I think some teams will worry about it now. There are certain players that are instrumental to this, such as Niakhate and Sangare. So I don’t think we will be shoe horned into a specific formation. Should be no excuses not to play our strongest team, and attack and win the game, no way should we be going defensive 5 at the back at home Since when do we have a top ten squad? We sold our best attacking player and replaced him with a plethora of unproven (but potentially good players). We strengthened in midfield but are weaker at LB than last year, we're weaker in goal and we're weaker at CB right now until Felipe is fit. How has our squad suddenly gone from relegation battlers to top 10? This isn't being negative btw, just trying to reign in some expectations. Should be no excuses not to play our strongest team, and attack and win the game, no way should we be going defensive 5 at the back at home I would imagine we'll start every game as 343 and switch to 4 if we are looking for a goal. Ideally we can play attacking, winning football in 343 then we don't have a problem! Elanga in for Danilo is already a big attacking change (if fit) If we're predicting teams (based on the assumption that everyone is fit): Turner Worrall McKenna Boly Aurier Sangare Yates Aina MGW Elanga Taiwo |
