Be a few changes I would imagine for this one.

RE: Crystal Palace - Nottingham Forest - WrexhamRed - 24-05-2023

This is clearly not as exciting as next seasons transfers
Hope folks don't forget there's a game on Sunday.
I'm wondering whether he'll play a 2nd string side seeing as the game means nothing to either team, or if he'll want to go out with a bang???

RE: Crystal Palace - Nottingham Forest - Joe Baker Legend - 24-05-2023

Shouldn't we be aiming to try and secure 15th place? 3 points, isn't there different prize money for higher position?

Just Googled it....
Do you get more money for finishing higher in the Premier League?
How does prize money work? As you may have spotted in the table of prize money, Premier League clubs receive an extra £2.2m ($2.7m) for each position higher up the table

RE: Crystal Palace - Nottingham Forest - Plymouth red - 24-05-2023

We should be aiming to win - end on a real feelgood factor. 1 defeat in last 6 and that being from a 94th minute goal.

Gives us momentum going into summer and start of next season.

I am sure that we try to win every game regardless.

Yes you're right & as we've seen all season, our 2nd string is not good enough so put out a strong team & go out with a bang
It's crazy to think we're only goal difference away from a possible 14th place

Regardless of the team selection I hope Jack Colback gets to play some part . Perhaps final 10 minutes as substitute. If fit of course

I don't think that's enough money to really accomplish anything (signings, or the general financial health of the club).  I think we should use this game to have a hard look at players on the bubble for inclusiion in next year's roster.

RE: Crystal Palace - Nottingham Forest - Tricky - 26-05-2023

Coopers job isn't secured by any means yet! If he decides to tinker with fringe squad players and give them a run out and we get tonked by Palace, EM may decide enough is enough and pull the trigger!

Cooper will also know there will be in the region of 3,000 Trickies at Selhurst Park and will not want to put out a weak side and run the risk of disappointing them. He says he owes our fans so much for the support we have given him and the side, he wont want to repay them with a team of dross or risk getting a beating.

He will want to win! Therefore, I think he will field a very strong starting 11 and maybe introduce one or two fringe players towards the end of the game, depending on how things are going.

Spot on Tricky, I’d be very surprised if he didn’t field the strongest side, he won’t want to let the travelling fans down.
It would be good to end the season on a win.

RE: Crystal Palace - Nottingham Forest - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 26-05-2023

I am sure we will select a strong eleven I don't think anyone is doubting that.

I do though expect a few changes, we are/have been carrying a few injuries (Navas, Lodi, Danilo to name three).

I think Hennessey and Kouyate will start and Possibly Toffolo.
