Worth noting Everton have also got one less game left too! Their game with Brentford next weekend seems pretty critical for them. Leeds have some tricky games coming up, they will massively be targetting our game. It certainly means there's a lot riding on games from here on out. Shame these are the games that tend to be on Saturdays as I'd want to watch them all! Lets try and enjoy it for as long as possible. I'm now pumped for next weekend already haha. RE: Premier League Survival - Run Ins - Sausage Roll - 06-03-2023 In the original post I've just underlined and italicised the matches between the bottom nine clubs. A few more interesting callouts from doing that: - Palace have still got to play all eight teams below them, including a run of six on the trot. If they lose a few of them they could be dragged right into bother - Everton have got a run of five hard games next. No wonder Dyche was so desperate to beat us - Southampton and Bournemouth's next three and four games respectively all look tricky RE: Premier League Survival - Run Ins - nffc93 - 06-03-2023 Palace's fixtures stand out to me beased on their current form. They could get sucked right in with a bit of luck. Though that would also be doing us a favour (not including them winning the one vs. us of course). Also - Everton vs. Bournemouth last game of the season could be mahoosive. In fact with us playing Palace and West Ham playing Leicester, six of the current bottom nine play each other on the final day. RE: Premier League Survival - Run Ins - Salvatore Matrecano - 06-03-2023 Thanks SR Reckon the bottom 6 is Southampton Bournemouth Leeds Everton West Ham Forest. Pick any 3 you want out of them to drop, I have no idea. Palace Wolves and Leicester will all be Ok IMO. RE: Premier League Survival - Run Ins - JollyLolly - 06-03-2023 Lets concentrate on ourselves as nobody is going to do any favours on our behalf, looks like a difficult few months for us based on those fixtures. I hope both SC and the players are up for it otherwise we we will be looking at Championship fixtures this time next season! RE: Premier League Survival - Run Ins - BadDog - 06-03-2023 Can't see us getting a point in April. They were pretty bad in that game, they clearly have more attacking prowess than the other 6 but their defence is also noticeably worse. I would only take Wolves out so far, Palace haven't played well this year although their hard run of games recently is possibly giving them a slightly false position. They weren't good when we played them though and don't exactly look like scoring anytime soon. It's important to look at rivals to gauge where we are within the division in terms of quality. Plus if three of the other teams collapse we'd stay up so why would you not root for that outcome?! You think we'll lose at home to Wolves, away at Leeds, away at Villa, home to Brighton, away at Brentford plus the Liverpool and Utd games? You must be a riot on matchdays! We're unbeaten in 9 at home, we're not a great side but we're good at grinding results. Sorry I'm out walking the dog and didn't see the dates properly. I usually predict a win for the most part at home. |
