Barnsley - Nottingham Forest - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 26-09-2021 To be played on Wednesday 29th September. At the Oakwell Stadium. Kick off is at 19:45. RE: Barnsley - Nottingham Forest - Strawberry Avenger - 26-09-2021 We 'owe' them. SA. RE: Barnsley - Nottingham Forest - Alf - 26-09-2021 Would be happy with another point tbh, but would be very nice to get a win. RE: Barnsley - Nottingham Forest - Username - 26-09-2021 Wonder if Ojeda is near the squad yet? RE: Barnsley - Nottingham Forest - Marinakis Red - 26-09-2021 Quite looking forward to going to Barnsley for the first time in a while. And the other one we signed from oly. Not that we are desperately short in either position. Be interested to see if that signing from west ham gets a look in now (and if he is any good) RE: Barnsley - Nottingham Forest - Tricky - 27-09-2021 (26-09-2021, 08:47 PM)Plymouth red Wrote:(26-09-2021, 07:48 PM)Username Wrote: Wonder if Ojeda is near the squad yet? I think we may see Silva on the bench on Wednesday, if Grabbs is injured RE: Barnsley - Nottingham Forest - Ciscokid - 27-09-2021 I'm all for giving players a chance to prove themselves but I really struggle now to see what Taylor offers to our performances. He doesn't look like a striker who worries the opposition at all. No presence in the air, poor ball control and, most of all, his positioning when a cross is coming is woeful. Every cross on saturday saw him positioned behind 2 defenders somehow expecting the ball to bypass them so that he could tap in. I've read that the u23 strikers aren't yet ready. Well ok so then I think that Silva should play so that, hopefully, this old ex centre forward can grind his teeth a little less on Wednesday night. RE: Barnsley - Nottingham Forest - Marinakis Red - 27-09-2021 Taylor has been really poor, fortunately I think it will be the last signing of his type. If Grabbs is injured we will struggle a little bit, but hopefully get through the 2 games this week and he will be ok for Blackpool at home. Fancy 3 points on Wednesday, Cooper has really lured me right back in. A really likeable bloke. And talks about football as I want to hear it so I could listen to him all day. If it makes it to the pitch I'm really excited after being sceptical about his appointment. Cannot wait to get in that away end again on Wednesday. RE: Barnsley - Nottingham Forest - JollyLolly - 27-09-2021 Cisco, who are the wise football people stating that our u23 strikers are not ready as yet? It's just some random opinions, nobody really knows until they play at 1st team level if they make it, any of our younger lads have got to be a better bet then Taylor! I wanted Wilder TBH, but Cooper has really changed my opinion of him over the past week.
