No way are we his total priority. No way. He'll be looking at both clubs & doing what he thinks best for both.
To reach the knockout stages is less than a 10th the prize money of reaching the Prem. About 8m.

What do you think EM would sooner have, a likely 8m or adream of 80m which in 2 seasons & for us 20 years has been a million miles away?

Just learned something interesting.
Carvalho had the chance to go to Olympiakos BEFORE he signed for Forest but he DIDN'T want to go to Greece.
So that is another reason why I think all this talk of a move to Olympiakos is a load of bull.

Yeah agree. Also, if we let Carvalho go, we would still owe Benfica a huge chunk of the transfer fee that is yet to be paid. Financially it wouldn't benefit EM at all. It wouldn't benefit Forest at all to loan him as we would still have to pay the installment on the transfer fee.

He made the right decision. Even if we are a 2nd tier team, based on players who have been good for Olypiacos and poor for us, the standard and demands of the championship is far higher.

Fair play to you Sniffer. You have consistently been beating the same drum and saying that Carvalho was not going to Olympiakos even though a lot of media outlets and fans were convinced that he was.

New video on Twitter now of Joao on crutches and with a protective boot on his injured leg. He ain’t going to be playing any football for months looking at that. I hope we tell Alfreton to stick it with regards to hosting our U23 matches after one of their cloggers ruined the start of Joao’s season, and possibly a lot longer.
