We lost our 2 best players from last season. Our form from January was bang on mid table in the form guide. I don't think we have strengthened enough to achieve any better but I hope I'm wrong . I love this club but my faith and confidence in lamouchi and co is dwindling...he will need a win at the weekend to get people on side . Without sow in the side his points per game ratio is poor.

There is nothing wrong with criticism but it should be constructive criticism like Widdow, he backs up his comments and writes a good detailed post to back up his view.
What gets on my tits is 'one line criticism' like he's shit, the owners won't spend money, we are going nowhere with these owners, Sabri is useless etc etc. These type of posts need more content and more detail to back them up.

I've certainly given more than one line and detail to my posts that could be seen as criticism of the hierarchy or the managers negative mentality and approach to football games.

You have KR and so as Widdow but there are one or two others who don't. They always agree with the posters who do by writing 'great post' or 'I agree' etc but never write more than one line themselves.

If that's aimed at me Sniff then feel free to back those comments up. My memory isn't the best as i get older but i don't recall saying any of that lot. In fact I'd say that stuff doesn't get said on this forum. Twtter, vital and ltlf i see it but not here?
I was livid with Sab for the play off debacle, not convinced by him today but I'll back him. The owners, It'll take academy upgrades/stadium development, prem football before I'm convinced. That's just "my opinion."

All of sudden there is a lot of negativity on this site towards the owners. Personally I don't get it. We make a huge loss every season even before Covid. We have improved each season they took over. This transfer window we have brought six players in. Most of those are generally thought to be good additions. Can't help it I'm afraid. I know it won't go down too well on this forum but I'm just not entirely convinced by these owners.
I wouldn't say there is a lot. Just the same 2 or 3 posters who are negative about absolutely everything. It does get a tad tiring at times.
I think that can work both ways as well?

It's not so much the performance I'm talking about - and you make valid points. Results and performances since lockdown ended haven't been what we'd all have liked, and the less said about the end of the season the better.
Just reading some of the comments about some of the players we've signed or have been linked with is draining. Because some people haven't heard of some of the players then they're immediately written off, belittled, the leagues they've played in called weak. That's just far too simplistic a view in my opinion. You never know how a signing will work out. We've signed 'unknown' players from 'weak' leagues before who've gone on to be brilliant. We've signed players from the English leagues who haven't worked out.
It annoys me how some just jump straight on players because they're not big names or not from big leagues, before they've even seen them kick a ball in the Garibaldi.
Do these comments exist on any kind of material scale? I'm not sure they do.

Spot on.
The January where we signed Pele, Wague, Bonatini there was an overwhelming demand of it.
The same last summer with Semedo and Bostock. There were tons of posts almost lecturing how good they would be based upon YouTube videos and Champ Man/FIFA experience.

Added to that the players here like Worrall, Lolley, Grabban , Samba already here, who are certainly top 6 players.
We have a squad that is stronger than last year, and definitely has more goals in it, and should be equipped to be more than competitive in this league

I agree that some seem to have expectations which are way above where we find ourselves as a club in 2020. Our income puts us just below mid-table. We don’t have the advantage of the extra commercial revenue clubs with newer stadiums are able to bring in. We are outside the parachute rich club. Very obviously we are over achieving in our league position.
The owners have covered significant losses since they arrived to keep us within FFP restrictions. Compare our recent performance with clubs with similar (but slightly larger) income like Sheff Wed, Derby, Bristol City, and it puts our current performance into perspective when you consider that two of those clubs have sold their stadium to stay within FFP limits and the other has regularly sold key players to stay out of financial trouble. None of us have the parachute payment riches, and all of us rely heavily on owners to meet the shortfall. This is where we are.
Promotion is the aim, and everyone at the club is aware that anything less won’t do. Despite an above par league finish the latter half season collapse was hugely disappointing. The end of season form of 3 points from 6 was unacceptable. The criticisms are understandable. It was the right decision to stick with Lamouchi in my opinion, but the team needs to get off to a good start otherwise he will be replaced.
Recruitment is hit and miss at most clubs. Mistakes have been made since the owners arrived. Last summer was good. Last January was poor. However, the annual trend has always been upwards and lessons are clearly being learned in what a competitive Championship squad should look like for a club with limited resources.
The next few months are crucial. We need to get off to a good start and maintain the upward momentum. If we do I confidently predict a top six finish.

Theres a big mixture of opinion on here as to how we will do. I was going to do a thread to add a poll but I cant work out how to do it, there is a box to tick “I want to add a poll” but nothing happens when you do? Can someone point me some instructions or do one?
Would be interesting to see where people think we would finish at the end of the season.
