RE: Your Thoughts On The Current Nottingham Forest Manager - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 09-05-2021

I don't think EM is thinking of a change of manager but if he has the slightest doubt or if he's not 100% sure that CH is the right man then he should do it now not after one or two months and waste precious time. It will be interesting to see when/if Syrianos comes in what sort of influence if any he will have when it comes to recruiting players/managers/coaches etc.

Lets hope a strategy comes with it like he had at Stuttgart

100% agree there sniff. I would also add though, and you won’t like it, that if EM is thinking about change and does then he should go with. You can’t judge CH on anything other that keeping us up this season. EM need to give the manager the trust and time to do the job. Stability is what he said we would get when he took over and if he can’t offer that now, with a good manager at last, then he also needs to step back.

I don’t want any of the above to happen. I want CH to be given the trust and time and I want EM to continue to back the club and keep improving us. I just can’t believe anyone would be wanting rid of the manager after all that he has had to deal with since joining us.

Agreed mate which is why I started off by saying that I don't think that EM is thinking of changing the manager. I would be very very surprised if he did. I am just not sure how much power and influence Syrianos will have if he comes in.

I am sure he's not going to leave Stuggart just to sit in a temporary office at the Nigel Doughty Academy looking at and analysing videos all day, I think he'll be more than that.

If he sacks Hughton I’m definitely not renewing my season ticket. Sick and tired of the annual rip it up and start again madness.

maybe the disappointing season is because of 'the missing link' seems we are set up as a big club with recruitment teams, a big chunk on youth development, marketing/sales/website/club interaction and obviously a manager who is probably only really a coach, so the key is galvanising everything like recruitment and the coach, marketing and connecting with the fans and all that galvanised even stronger youth, vision, fans, owner, coach and every corner of the floundering empire that is NFFC

Feels like alot of black holes and burned out bearings where the integration hasn't docked together

Having said all that the club needs a leader that speaks freely and honestly and frequently and meaningfully, back in the day that was the manager, and to be brutally honest he says very little of meaning along with everyone else

If the club said we are skint, we are relying on fans revenue, this season is going to be a fight for survival, i'd take it, it's telling it how it is and nothing more of a galvaniser than a backs to the wall fight

99% sure that is not going to happen Sabri.

Yes, I wasn’t suggesting you’re saying it is mate. Just hoping EM recognises the value of stability and trusting the process for once. My feeling is he will stick with CH, at least until next Xmas.  ;)

Football PR has moved on a lot since the 80/90s, the manager is no longer the spokesperson for the club. Its not fair to blame CH for not saying things if that's what he's been told to do.

The club PR is obviously terrible although the recent Q&A is a positive move. This has nothing to do with CH. Basing your opinion on his interviews seems a pretty odd way to judge him

So who are the viable candidates for the minority that hate Hughton and all he stands for? If EM does feel he wants to start fresh now before preseason begins who’s out of a job currently that will work for us?

Is that some sarcasm I missed? Obviously people can not want Hughton manager without hating him.

This new guy should know the German league well, that seems to have been a good breeding ground.
